Biofeedback is a two part process. First, individuals gain awareness of their physiological functioning by seeing it displayed to them in real time. Examples include: heat rate, muscle tension, skin temperature and skin conductance. Second, they learn to regulate their own unconscious bodily processes, and as a result, gain better control of their stress responses. It can help with: stress reduction, chronic pain, anxiety, high blood pressure, ADHD, Raynaud's disease, peak performance, migraines, gastrointestinal problems, unconscious teeth grinding, and more.
